Nice concept with some stand-out artwork/music there :D

I was pretty confused about what was going on at first, but after I figured it out it's pretty fun. It's a nice mix of rng and strategy. Good artwork too.

Wonderful art! Gameplay-wise, I loved the idea of different outcomes for different dice rolls and that not every roll actually do something for you. It is a little bit frustrating when you don't roll an action during your turn or roll self-damage only, so I with the player had more impact on the outcome. Have you considered making one roll for all your ability cards? For example, if you roll an 8, it activates an attack on card 1, nothing on card 2 and self-damage on card 3? I think that might create some interesting strategies, especially with different type of dice. Good job!

Thank you for the extensive commentary.

Interesting suggestion, I will think about it

Oh, really good game! I like art style and gameplay! I like it :D Just great work!

I love it! :o

The fact that some turns can end up with nothing done really makes you think about where you want to put your dice, and the special effects like rerolling or removing a face add a whole new layer to the strategy. It is well thought out and very well executed!

Visually, it's awesome! I love pixel art, so I'm 100% biased, but since I'm seeing other comments agreeing, it's definitly not just me ^^

Really, there's nothing to say, it's a great submission! =D

As you might tell from my game, I am a fan of unique battle systems. This is definitely one of the better battlers (and games) I've player this Jam. The use of different dice and attack outcomes added a nice layer of strategy to counter the randomness of dice.

Loved the art direction of this one too.

Really awesome art and music! I love the aesthetic. Its also a really awesome usage of the theming. Its kind of hard to get into tho just because its hard to come up a good strategy quickly, and I didn't realize that you had to hit the roll button to use an action. Overall a really great entry!

Cool game. Final boss is beaten!

The art is really well done, and the music is cool too, if a bit repetitive. Its a fun game with good strategizing to get at least some control of the randomness and your characters action. Good teamwork in such a short time.

Interesting! Would be super helpful if it showed how much you rolled and which effect you got.
