Actually forgot that I was supposed to judge the game for the rating. Just had a blast playing it. Super frustrating, but not unfair. I'm mostly bad at games like this, but at least it wasn't an unfair game. Hate those.
Annoyed the hell out of me when I accidently fell back to a previous stage. But yeah... very nice platformer
Best game I tried, had a lot of fun!
I love the simplicity behind the art! The game looks just amazing!
The momentum was fun too! Honestly one of my favorites
Awesome game. Simple art (reminded me of the old cellphone games like Snake and Space Impact) but awesome level design. Another one for my favourites. And I really like the integration of momentum as part of the mechanics.
If you could take a look at my game, I would really appreciate too. :)
Honestly I don't understand why this game has so few rates. I think it's the best game I played in this Game Jam. The graphic is so minimal but rich of details. The animation of the clocks, of the player, of the gears are amazing, the physics works perfectly, the SFX are consistent with the game, The game design is superbe, well thought, and the game has a beginning and an end. You finished it, the duration is f***ing long to be a 1 week game ahahahahah I don't know how you did it, but well done! Maybe a music at low volume in the background during you play could be a good idea. I encountered 0 bugs. So, nothing to say but masterful job! ;) good luck
This game was super good. It was really good. I really enjoyed it. The controls and the puzzles were very good. It felt great to control the character and I really liked it. The puzzles were quite innovative but after some time it got annoying. However, you need to add to some audio to the game. Some background music would have been super cool.
Could you please rate my game too? Its not as good as yours but if you rated it, it would meana lot to me.
Wow I'm starting to find more and more very good game from the game jam submissions and this one is excellent and professional. Graphics are simple but very polished. The controls of the character are perfect and smooth, this choice of a high gravity is properly used by the level design. I really enjoyed your game, even if sometimes, I was a bit frustrated because I had to restart the room below when I felt.
Oh and I died once on a corner of a platform (with blank spikes) but that was the only bug I had.
Really good job !
I enjoyed your game alot! Really nicely made and the art is great. If you have the time, please play my game, thanks!
cool and simple i like it
Really cool game, I had a lot of fun playing! I enjoyed the simple art and the animations like the clocks actually turning back in time as you rewind them.
I found timing when to jump to get a boost from a moving platform quite difficult to get right. And I really didn't like having the jump key right next to the rewind key, since it wasn't a key you'd usually get for jump I kept forgetting if it was J or K :D W or space would've been much better. And I don't think your tutorial at the beginning mentioned how to jump, so I had to go back to the main menu to look at game controls. I couldn't hear any background music either and I think this would've made the game a lot better and more immersive.
This definitely deserves more ratings and feels very polished and fun though, really great job! :D
Like people are saying, you need more ratings here because this really needs more attention. I especially enjoy how much weight the character has. Really good use of the colour palette as well and the overall aestethics.
Great Game, loved it. really fun, excellent platformer. It definitely deserves way more ratings.
the controls at first might be counter intuitive, but you get used to it really quick, so its not a big issue.
Great Job :D
This game is super cool, and deserves way more ratings! It's pretty brutal at points, but I greatly appreciated the "skip level" button! I also loved the graphics, they're so simple but so well-done! Great job on this jam entry!
Loved how you use the theme and the graphics in this. Congratulations on the level design, the challenge was great. I wish to see more of your games!
Great job!
The game is great and the controller is amesome do you have tips to make a good platformer controller like this
please rate my game
Thx! My system is floating point based and uses the edges of AABBs to calculate where to place the player when overlapping, but this article is a super helpful place to start: https://medium.com/@MattThorson/celeste-and-towerfall-physics-d24bd2ae0fc5.
This game is really great! It has something of Celeste. I love the art style and the sound effects, but especially the gameplay, of course. Though, sometimes, it gets really hard. At some places checkpoints would be nice, and you have too much control at how far the platforms throw you, which can lead to trial and error finding the right amount of speed. The ending was interesting, though I didn't understand what it meant.
Oh and one bug, I don't exactly know how it happened, however, you can rewind a clock in the exact same moment you get kicked away from a platform, which leads to the player getting stuck in middle of nothing as long as you hold j.
Overall, super cool game!
I'm glad you enjoyed the game! I had no idea about that bug so I'll look into it. Thanks for letting me know!
Wow this game is insane! So polished and elegantly designed! Loved all the mechanics and the level design was smart. I wish you the best of luck in getting more people to see this masterpiece!
Played your game in this video here at 00:09:30. Didn't get my audio settings quite right so my feedback is a bit, quiet, but hopefully it's still helpful feedback.
Thank you so much! It's so cool to see visual feedback on my game (there is about a 5 frame leeway to maintain platform velocity as well as coyote time - but maybe not enough).
Well done! This is one of the best games I played in the game jam. The physics in the game feels right and the simple pixel art is so appealing.
Great concept! Please rate my game :)
