I loved how you fitted the theme in your game and the filter effect to the music when you travel between levels. I would liked to have faster change scenes transitions but I realy liked the concept!

Nice game, it was simple but funny and fits well the theme of the jam. I enjoy playing it!

It was a cool concept, but it was easier to just to through all the levels to find the key, and I didn't understand if the hint was to help you understand the puzzle or if it was required to pass the level

It is still pretty good, especially if you did all the assests from scratch!

Developer

I did do the assets from scratch! Thanks! I really liked how the brick texture worked out!

I can't rate because is not fair. Resolution is too large for my screen and I don't see everything, so I can't play properly.

I like your idea of rewinding through levels to solve the puzzles but I feel like the puzzles weren't a challenge and I kind of more just brute forced my way through the levels. I think with a bit more work this game could be great but for a first time you've done really well! :D

Jumping between levels is really interesting idea, and it would be great to see some more side affects due to changing something in another level. Maybe you need a key in two different areas or something.

Very innovative and commendable idea, but unfortunately didn't have much fun playing it myself.

Figuring out where the next key was located (without hints) essentially came down to noticing something arbitrary (like number of empty slots) as opposed to actually finding a solution. In a similar vein, I would've liked to see the jumping to earlier levels used in a more meaningful way (e.g. doing something in one level affects something in the subsequent levels).

The music was very nice, though. Very cute and relaxing!

I know, if I had more time I would've been a lot more thorough with the clues and with the level design. I unfortunately ended up doing all of the level design in the last 1-2 days.

a very neat idea very nice for first game as well congrats. I didn't really understand the rules on why the keys where were they where but overall a nice approach on the theme

Very interesting idea, it is an original take of revisiting back levels to make progress. Maybe with more elements the game could have a solid base to be a good game instead of only collecting keys.

Nevertheless, for a first game it's a very good one, so congrats on your participation

Interesting idea. The music did feel a little repetitive. One suggestion I have is to consider people who are colour blind. Good first game though.

Great job! fun little game.

Cool first game!

Improvements: Shorter SceneTransitions, increase readability of the text (color, brigtheness, size)

Everything else was fine. Solid entry. Keep going!

Cool idea!

A very good attempt at a first game. Well done, like the other comments pacing is key

Transitions between scenes should take less time. Would love to see this game paced a little faster. Interesting concept nonetheless.

Very creative!

Very good for a first game! The scene transitions are a little long but the concept really has potenital, maybe after collecting a key in a new room a door opens up in the old one that you could see before so its more a memory game than a guessing one. But great work making your first game!

Developer

There were hidden clues to point you to the right level with the key.

It was definitely a different experience and idea from other rewind games I expected and played so far. So props to originality. Personally I found the fade in and out of the level screens were unsatisfyingly annoying, it would be nice to have some clues of where the keys would be instead of me just going through each of them to hopefully get the right room sooner.

But this is an awesome first game. Congrats.

Developer

Each of the rooms had a clue to point to the correct room to go back to. That's why there was a hint.

For a first game that's not bad! I was pleasantly surprised with it, good job!

I would recommend though to not have the player press 'E' to pick up the keys, but have them get picked up automatically when you walk over them. Also, the controls could get tightened up a bit. It felt like I was gliding most of the time.
