You are accompanied by an officer droid and embark on an investigation that takes you to the Club Orion, a hot spot for local criminals.

*** This game was done under 4 days, and is focused on a narrative experience, with fully voiced dialogue, with music and sound effects, so please set your expectations accordingly. ***
Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes! Except for a very few assets we got from the asset store.

Top notch audio but I was hoping for more intervention and investigation on the players part, it's like the robot is solving the intire case on it's own.
Thank you! We made it clear that the game is focused on a narrative experience, with fully voiced dialogue, with music and sound effects. We wanted to focus on storytelling. If we had more time we would definitely add some more interaction to the game. As a jam entry that was made in under 4 days, it just wasn't possible.
Hope you enjoyed it :)
relly cool game and graphics, i love the robots, also the audio was good
Thank you!
I'll write as I play:
The plot of this game feels super linear. I'm just walking to where the robot tells me to, and then pressing E. Which doesn't feel very engaging. Also, I skipped the bartender telling me about the hard drive (it said press E to continue :/) And then walked into another room, where I saw a massive hard drive and then got sent to the main menu. Is that it? I feel like the story wasn't resolved at all. All in all, interesting use of the mechanics, good graphics, and great voice acting. This was a pretty good entry, but was dragged down by the linear unengaging story and the bugs.
Thank you! We made it clear that the game is focused on a narrative experience, with fully voiced dialogue, with music and sound effects. We wanted to focus on storytelling. If we had more time we would add some more interaction in the game.
About the story, you need to find out 3 things: who the killer is, the motive and then find the hard drive. Does it make sense now? Hope you enjoyed it :)
Yes, I suppose the story makes sense, but it doesn't feel very satisfying at all. I'm not investigating anything myself. It plays out more like a short movie than a videogame. I'm just saying, in a story driven game, it would feel a lot better if the story was fun and meaningful to play. Good work on the rest of the game though.
wow the game looks really nicee.. did you made everything alone? feels like you work a lot on this and it was fun and interesting experience. feels a bit buggy but overall nice. if you have time please drop by my game;)
Thank you!
Well this is an incredibly unique submission! I really liked the art style and the whole vibe was really interesting. Props for doing your own voice acting! Our game was basically entirely voice acting too so we know how much effort it can take to write the scripts and get everything right. Really well done! I hope you expand on it after the jam, I'd be very interested to see where this goes!
Thank you for your feedback! I really appreciate it. It's nice to hear you made voice acting too, and that you know about the effort it takes. Thanks a lot!
Visual effects and voice acting was very nice. Normally I like story driven games, but usually they have a certain level of interactability. Since you couldn't interact with anything it felt more like a short movie. Also I didn't feel like the controls were very elegant.
I understand that 14 days aren't a lot of time when you aim to make a visually engaging game with voice acting. But this just didn't feel like a game to me at this stage of development. It could turn out great though. 14 days just wasn't enough.
Thanks for the feedback. 14 days? The jam lasted 7 days, and we only had 4 days, and yes 4 days are not enough. Hope you enjoyed it anyway :)
I have no idea why I said days xD I obviously meant 7 days
Amazing! Would love to play a full version of this, with all the investigation and other cases! Nice work with the voices too!
Really great job! Congratulations!
Thank you!
The environment, sound and music, and voice acting are really nice, and the use of the theme is good, but it didn't really fell like a game, more like a follow the story (which was cool but not enough for me).
Thank you! We made it clear that the game is focused on a narrative experience, with fully voiced dialogue, with music and sound effects. We wanted to focus on storytelling. If we had more time we would add some more interaction in the game.
It is clear that not everyone likes storytelling games but it shouldn't affect your judgment. I appreciate your feedback anyway, hope you enjoyed it :)
The voice acting is good, as well as the general idea, but I think it's more of a proof of concept than anything.
Thanks for the feedback! I think more time would allow us to do more than that.
Nice game and it stuck to the rewind them but there was a lot of bugs but a lot but a rly good game overall for only seven day and im sure this game can go far
Hi! Thanks for the feedback! We actually had less that 4 days.. About the bugs, a lot of bugs? I heard about two bugs that occur mostly on computers that are not powerful enough. Anyway, if we had more time we would do some optimization. Thanks!
when your in the office you can get out and then it bugs and you cant get in again in the map that you see the dead body you can easily get out of the map from diffrent places
Good voice acting, animations, graphics and storytelling, but lack of interactions. Collision detection or movement is buggy. You can easily go out of the map in some places.
"It's not a bug. It's a feature". Just kidding ;) Thanks for your feedback.
For being made in 4 days I'm really impressed but I must say I would've wanted to do more than just walk around :) And the transitions were a little to bright coming from a dark room.
Thanks for the feedback! I guess 4 days are not enough to make it perfect ;)
You're welcome! Yeah but still very good for 4 days :) And feel free to play my game as well :)
Amazing job! good storytelling, I would have enjoyed to take part of action but its a very good game! loved the concept and how you fit the theme. Great job!
Thank you!
Amazing! I honestly can't believe how you were able to make this game just under 4 days!
Great story telling, loved the voice lines, they really helped me get into the game! I also like the concept of your game!
The transition when using IF clock was super cool, but at times I kind of felt like it was a little too slow, but that's just a minor thing.
Overall a great game and given the fact that you made this game under 4 days, it's just super impressive.
Thank you! I really appreciate it :)
A great game. I don't know how you did it in a week. But awesome game. I really liked it. Great job!
Could you please take the time to rate my game too? Its not as good as yours but it would mean a lot to me if you did.
Thank you! We actually had less than a week ;). Yeah I'll play and rate your game soon :)
Thanks for taking the time to play and rate, I'll check yours out as well!
Very cool story, It was executed quite well :) do you plan on working on this after the jam is over?
Thank you! Right now we have no plans for after the jam, but if it gets a good rating maybe we will :)
Amazing how much you were able to include during the jam time frame. I especially am impressed with the effects you put in. That's usually put on the backburner, but they did a great job in helping to immerse the player in your world. Great job!
Thank you!
Its a cool idea that was done really well the story and narrative a pretty fun and the graphics are good too
Thank you!
I love this game, its very nice, but my only thing I don't like, is the lack of gameplay. I feel like I am watching a animated short instead of playing a game because all you do is talk to the robot bartender, see what happened, and walk to your destination. Watching the rewinded scenes feel like watching a clip. The presentation and graphics and audio is great, but I just feel like it lacks gameplay.
Thank you! We made it clear that the game is focused on a narrative experience, with fully voiced dialogue, with music and sound effects. We wanted to focus on storytelling. If we had more time we would add some more interaction in the game. Hope you enjoyed it :)
This game excels in many ways, from the story telling, immersion, graphics, audio... The thing I missed is some more gameplay depth, but this is just personal taste. Great job, this probably has taken a lot of work.
Thank you! I appreciate it :)
