Hallgren is the lead instructor for the NSF I-Corps Workshop at Iowa JPEC. She also teaches the I-Corps curriculum at the regional and national level. She is the founder of The Levain Group, a business growth training and executive coaching solutions firm. 

Some career highlights include training entrepreneurs in The Republic of Georgia and Zambia with U.S. State Department programs, and helping small business owners create “survival plans” during the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic with the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program.
