Kevin Brownlow (lahir 2 Juni 1938) adalah seorang sejarawan film, pembuat dokumenter televisi, pembuat film, pengarang dan penyunting film Inggris.[1][2] Brownlow dikenal karena karyanya mendokumentasikan sejarah era film bisu. Brownlow mulai berminat terhadap film bisu pada usia sebelas tahun. Peminatan tersebut berkembang menjadi karier yang dijalani dengan medokumentasikan dan merestorasi film. Ia menyelamatkan beberapa film bisu dan sejarah mereka. Inisiatifnya dalam mewawancarai beberapa pionir film lansia yang terlupakan pada 1960an dan 1970an menyajikan sebuah warisdan perfilman hiburan massal awal. Brownlow meraih sebuah Academy Honorary Award di Governors Awards Tahunan ke-2 yang diberikan oleh Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences pada 13 November 2010.[3] Ini adalah pertama kalinya dimana sebuah Academy Honorary Award dioberikan kepada seorang preservasionis film.[4]
