Great. I'm in the civilian guard less than a day and already I've pissed everyone off. "Trigger discipline, asshole!" How was I supposed to know anything from trigger discipline??? Like I ever held a gun outside of a holo-game. No one got hurt, but the sergeant (what a jerk) said the processor I blew up was worth 20, 30, or 40 mill (the estimate went up every time he screamed about it). Made the entire platoon drop and give him 50 push-ups (!!!) then run 10 clicks (!!!). Hopefully that wore everyone out too much to give me a blanket party. Rather not be crapping blood for the next four weeks...

Start by following the path north out of Free Heap. When it branches, take the right (northern) path, ford the river, then take the left (western) branch at the next fork. Cross the small bridge and immediately turn north off the path where you will see a pile of scrap metal. The datapoint is located on top of the pile.
Alternate directions: At the far north above Free Heap, where the terrain turns from arid to stoney , are two bridges next to each other in the viscinity of a a charger, lancehorn, and thunderjaw site. The datapoint is just north of the east bridge on a tank ruin that's in a grassy area.
