Tumblr offers a wide variety of badges to customize how your blog appears to others in the dashboard.

What Badges Look Like

Badges will appear next to your username on any post/reblog when viewed from the dashboard.

They also appear below your blog’s name or title in the Blog View. You can access this view from the URL http://www.tumblr.com/yourblogname.

To choose which badges to display, visit your blog’s Appearance Options.

As you earn badges, they will appear as a notification, which you simply click to collect.

* Some badges are only available to claim for a limited time, as part of a promotion or timed campaign. Be sure to check in often so that you can claim other exclusive badges in the future!

Additional Information about Badges

Some of the badges you can earn will only work on your primary blog, like “Generous Citizen,” because you can only send gifts from your primary blog.

At this time, it’s not possible to purchase badges on a group blog.

It’s not possible to transfer badges from one blog to another.
