Manage your personal details

The Personal details section includes options for IMDbPro members with a claimed name page to self-identify their:

• Gender/Gender Identity
• Pronouns
• Sexual Orientation
• Race/Ethnicity
• Nationality/Religious or Ethnic Identity
• Disability
• Birthdate

IMDbPro members can choose whether this information is displayed in the"Personal Details" section of their IMDb and IMDbPro name page.

Options available to IMDbPro members are:

IMDbPro members with a claimed name page can self-identify information for their Personal Details section using the “Edit your page” button located at the top of your IMDbPro page.

You can also find the "Personal Details" section under the "About" tab:

1. Go to your IMDbPro page.
2. Navigate to the "About" tab.
3. Go to the "Personal Details" section, and select "Edit" (on Mobile, tap the pencil icon).

Navigate to the field you want to edit, select the appropriate option(s), and select “Save” to make your update.

If you choose not to display your birthyear (age), your name will not appear in search results for that birthyear. However, you’ll still appear in searches for the month and day (MM/DD) of your birthdate. You’ll also still appear in the Born Today feature.

For example, a person with a birthdate of January 1, 2000, that chooses not to display their age or birth year will appear in search results for a birthdate of January 1. However, the same person will not appear in search results when the birth year 2000 is used.
