Wreck It is an Arena War Adversary Mode in Grand Theft Auto Online as part of the Arena War update.
Description[]
In Wreck It, players compete to win the race. Upon loading, the host is presented with similar options to normal races. The race type is always set to "GTA", but the number of laps can be changed. Custom vehicles, catchup, and slipstream can also be toggled on or off.
Players may chose between any of the Arena Ready or Arena Contender vehicles before loading, and, if enabled by the host, select a "Custom" vehicle. This mode is not restricted to any particular Arena War vehicle, but all variants of the Scarab, Sasquatch, Bruiser and Cerberus are banned and cannot be selected. With "Custom Vehicles" enabled, the player is also able to upgrade their vehicle before the match starts.
When the round begins, a 3-second countdown timer starts, after which the race begins. Players are given a health bar, which is displayed above their vehicle, indicating how much health their vehicle has before it is destroyed and they are knocked out of the race. As Wreck It races tend to be longer, players can drive into the pits to repair their car during the race.
All three maps are short, oval tracks, with the difference between them being the road surface and amount of banking. Around the track are mines and traps, such as fire-breathing pads and barriers. These traps can only be activated by the spectators - eliminated players. They can also use other methods, such as Battle Drones, to hinder the progress of remaining racers.
The player that finishes in first, or the last player standing, wins the race.
Maps[]
There are three variations of Wreck It for each Arena War theme: Apocalypse, Future Shock, and Nightmare. The Apocalypse map features a dirt oval with no banking, while the Future Shock and Nightmare maps feature a paved oval track with continuous banking.
