He is the father of protagonist Tommy Vercetti. According to Tommy, his father worked in a print works and as a child, Tommy used to clean the rollers with him in the evenings. Tommy had planned to follow his father in the same trade, but, in his own words, "lived a different life", instead joining the Forelli Crime Family as young man.
In 1986, Tommy purchased the Print Works in Little Havana, Vice City, initially intending to print legal product but instead using it to print counterfeit money.
