Occupy[1] is an Adversary Mode featured in Grand Theft Auto Online as part of the continuation of the The Doomsday Heist update, released on December 19, 2017, during the Festive Surprise 2017 event.
Description[]
Players are split into two teams, orange and purple, and fight between several bases. Players will respawn on Oppressor motorcycles.
When a player drives into a base, it will take approximately 5 seconds before the base is marked as owned by their team. Every second the base is owned by a team, the counter for that team counts up. A target score, which is set by the host before the mission begins, must be reached for the team to win. The objective is to ideally hold the most bases in order for the team's counter to count up to the target score quicker. If three bases are owned, the counter will count up in threes. If no bases are owned, the counter will stop.
