Jimmy Silverman is a minor character in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.
He is voiced by Gary Yudman.
History[]
Background[]
Silverman is a producer and manager working for Blastin' Fools Records. In the early 1990s he produced both Rochell'le and Madd Dogg, and in 1992 briefly produced OG Loc after Madd Dogg disappeared.
Events of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas[]
After Madd Dogg and Carl Johnson chase OG Loc and retrieve Madd Dogg's rhyme book (which, unbeknowst to anyone, CJ stole for OG Loc earlier) at the Blastin' Fools Records building in Los Santos, Silverman threatens to sue OG Loc and presumably removes him from the Blastin' Fools Records label.
Character[]
Appearance[]
Silverman has dark brown hair and wears a red cap, a letterman jacket over a black shirt and khaki shorts.
Influence[]
It is possible that Jimmy's character is loosely based on Tom Silverman, founder of Tommy Boy Records. His appearance is accurate, but the label is based in New York City.
