The laundromat shares its interior with those in Hove Beach, Broker and East Island City, Dukes, both located in Liberty City; however, unlike the former, it plays no role in the story. The main distinction is that the Hove Beach location is managed by an elderly Russian woman, whereas a standard male NPC is stationed behind the counter at the Alderney location. Should the player open the cash register, they will receive between $9-$199 and one wanted star.
The laundromat in Alderney is one of three accessible laundromats in Grand Theft Auto IV, the other two being the one in Hove Beach and Coin Wash.
