Currently I am using a custom edge for my project. The edges are going behind the nodes when created. I would like to get a step path instead of going behind. Could someone help me with this?

My current situation:

Here if you notice, the edge is going behind the "Test" node. I would like to get a proper step path which does not touch other nodes.
