If you look at the current list of AET features threre is the client-side performance module that allegedly allows to run client-side performance tests with AET. It makes use of ySlow that is quite old and looks like no longer supported nor compatible with browsers.
Let's remove this module from the code and documentation to avoid potential issues and misunderstanding.

Note that there is a dedicated issue for implementing client-side performance testing module based on Lighthouse at #368.
