gVim keeps refreshing the text in the window and cursor movement is so slow the editor becomes unusable long-term

I noticed the effect dissapears in a small window (default size as opened in Windows), But at winheight() 109 it is a problem.

I have the keyboard rate set to max (I use keyrate.exe to set 30ms delay between key repeats)

Syntax is on. Issue does not occur with the "official" x86 package.

can you please describe in more detail, how to notice/reproduce the issue? It could also be a regression introduced by a patch, so if you could bisect the problem, that might be useful.

I renamed my vimfiles dir and _vimrc file, and I checked a couple of versions from the releases page up to 8.2.0065 (from dec. 30 I guess).

Cursor movement still slow.

Sorry there are so many nightly packages, that paging through the github packages list becomes a problem when I want to reach older releases.
