What happened?

When exporting mindmaps from a program (here Minder), that writes the text fields in HTML encoding, these don't get converted to native format when imported. I tried to convert those text files to unicode (UTF-8) first, but the import failed with those files.

It seems that HTML or XML encoding is standard for those formats, and thus should be converted automatically when importing.
