I assume this is mostly oriented to software/firmware discussions, but I have a rather trivial concern about the USB connector protection.

While the provided rubber "cases" offer protection over the electronics, I'm concerned about the damages that may arise on the USB connector when my key is on the keyring among other keys and stuff in the pants pockets.

Any good suggestion about a good physical cap or other way to protect the whole key?
