Description

@surechen

My system: Ubuntu 20.04.1 LTS
target: x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu

My fuzz depends on a dynamic library: ss.so.
ss is a rust project. The ss.so file is generated when cargo fuzz run fuzz_target_1 is executed. Project ss use crate-dlopen to load libraby .so

Here is the Cargo.toml of ss.so :

[lib]
name = "ss"
path = "src/lib.rs"
crate-type = ["rlib", "dylib"]

I use command:

cargo fuzz run fuzz_target_1

This is my fuzz Cargo.toml:

[package]
name = "ss-fuzz"
version = "0.0.0"
authors = ["Automatically generated"]
publish = false
edition = "2018"

[package.metadata]
cargo-fuzz = true

[dependencies.ss]
path = "../../../ss"

[dependencies]
libfuzzer-sys = "0.4"

[workspace]
members = ["."]

[[bin]]
name = "fuzz_target_1"
path = "fuzz_targets/fuzz_target_1.rs"
test = false
doc = false

The error is: thread '' panicked at 'called Result::unwrap() on an Err value: OpeningLibraryError (Custom { kind: Other, error: "........... ss.so: undefined symbol: __asan_option_detect_stack_use_after_return" })',
