SVG Support is coming in Bubblewrap 1.4.0. Alpha release can be tested with https://www.npmjs.com/package/@bubblewrap/core/v/1.4.0-alpha.6

More details on the shortcuts limitation on Android here: https://developer.android.com/guide/topics/ui/shortcuts#shortcut-limitations

Although you can publish up to five shortcuts (static and dynamic shortcuts combined) at a time for your app, most launchers can only display four.

Unfortunately, the introduction of sharp, which brought SVG supported create a set of issues and we removed support on Bubblewrap 1.5.0. We're working on re-adding it. You can follow progress on GoogleChromeLabs/bubblewrap#103 and GoogleChromeLabs/bubblewrap#260.
