FEATURE It would be beneficial for flight-plan validation belonging in the class of mission safety improvement strategies to have an option to simulate a loss of datalink. A decent implementation would be great. However a quick fix would also let us gain experience and define our real wishes a bit better. Where to best implement would need some discussion.
