Yes, the GitHub Student Developer Pack and the free Foundations Certification voucher are still active programs. There's no indication they've been discontinued. |

Hey, I reached out to GitHub Support, and they informed me that the certification voucher capacity for this term is fully used. That’s why we are seeing the error message. They also confirmed that we will be able to redeem the vouchers again either after some time or in January. I’ve attached their email response below for reference. |

Dont worry it happens when the batch is fulled and they release the new batch of voucher codes when the new college batch starts that is usually around september and january |

Hi everyone,
I’m a verified GitHub Student and trying to redeem the student voucher for the GitHub Foundations Certification exam today (November 10, 2025). However, when I try to apply the coupon code, I get an error (attached screenshots).
Could anyone confirm if the free student voucher program is still active? Or is there a known issue right now preventing voucher redemption?
I would really appreciate any guidance or help on how to resolve this.
