Currently, the nixos-wsl-version command nearly always shows DEV_BUILD as the version, because the channel is pulled directly from the git repo. To solve this, the channel(s) should be packaged into a tarball, that is then uploaded to github pages. That way, the tarball can be made to include the version information generated by the CI pipeline
