I vote for this too, though it seems like this repo hasn't gotten any attention for quite some time.

I'd love to support JupyterLab but realistically I have no time to work on this... If anyone wants to take up the challenge, I would recommend building on top of the new version of the underlying library, which is https://react-pivottable.js.org/
