Is there something wrong with my files? #3
Comments
Hi, Can you tell me which files are generated (to know where it did stop)? Jimmy |
Hi, thank you for your quick reply. When I am trying the "Run" step - so I am typing the command "curvislice.bat models/wing.stl" - the outcome is: wing.msh, wing.msh, wing__sf.obj and wing__ (.csv). Actually they are 4 files, not 3. Also I am not receiving any error message when the script is finished. So, I hope this describes better my problem. By the way I am trying the solution on Windows. Thank you in advance! Best, |

The "Printer has no profiles directory" may be because of the missing printer profile (curvi).

Hi there!
I appreciate your amazing work!
Apparently I have an issue with the gcode generator.
I followed your guide to get the gcode for the example wing.stl model.
I had a few issues with the installation so, I'm not sure if everything is done in this area correctly.
So far the outcome is:.2x msh file (I assume the way the printer goes) + .csv with the numbers (coords?).
It seems like the last part of the process (merge to gcode) doesn't work in my case.
Can you, please, give me a hint, where should I look for an error?
Best,
Karol.
