This is a bug related to Flutter so it's unlikely to be fixed by LocalSend. Flutter is a framework that LocalSend uses to compile to many operating systems. |

There were similar bug fixes because we could determine the exact dependency that causes this issue (so we just switched to another dependency or disabled it altogether). Native bugs in general are difficult to fix. In this case, I have no idea what causes this issue. |

I'm not familiar with Flutter. Damn I miss Timbuktu Pro. You would think we would have a good alternative by now. |

It works on my Mac Pros no problem. Monterey, and Sonoma.
The mini has Monterey;

Every other app works on the mini. Every screen sharing, file sharing, literally everything I have tried. Only your app crashes.
Is there a way to start it headless, or bypass the graphics initialization?
It seems to garble up like it's a graphics problem, but your app isn't even a screen sharing app, it's just network file sharing, so that shouldn't matter, but Screen Sharing, Remote Desktop, and VNC all work, no issues.
It does seem to be the GPU when I just logged in with a clean account, and opened it through the terminal to get the output.
After the garbage window times out, it stops at a black window, and the menu item works, but if I click "open" it does nothing.
Whatever RAD app you used may be the issue, so maybe they can help?
Maybe they have a bypass or fix?

Hi, I have exactly the same problem as @Fred-IV. LocalSend works on all my Macs except on this one: macOS Monterey The only difference to my other Macs is that this one is using OpenCore Legacy Patcher 1.5.0. @Fred-IV, I guess, yours is using OpenCore Patcher, too, isn't it? Best regards, |

Hi, The problem which @Fred-IV described is gone on my machine! After a new installation of my machine with macOS Sonoma by using OpenCore Legacy Patcher 2.0.2. Localsend works just fine. My system and configuration:

Thanks for the information @ogm256 . I will add a notice in the README mentioning your workaround. As I've predicted, LocalSend is built on top of Flutter, so there is nothing we can do on LocalSend side. |
Describe the bug
Crashes on application startup. I double-click it, and get the crash reporter.
I have WiFi turned off. I am using GB EtherNet.
To reproduce
Expected behavior
I loaded it on my 3 other Macs, no probem.
2 Mac Pros on Monterey, and a Mac Pro on Windows 11.
All work fine.
I decided to get rid of LanDrop and other apps that are not as nice.
I was going to load it on my Mini later, and when I finally did, it doesn't work at all on the Mini.
Regular troubleshooting. Re-copied it from the DMG to applications, rebooted, and still same problem.
