I thought we dropped support for versions of pytorch earlier than 1.13, but the documentation is pretty confusing, The README.md states that we support Pytorch >= 1.10 and "pure Pytorch", whatever that means, see image below. In a previous commit for Kymatio's Github workflows, @janden removed support for earlier versions of pytorch (more evidence that we just support 1.13 and 2.0). It does appear that our code still checks for pytorch version and if its greater than or equal to 1.8.

@janden Are you able to provide an answer to "what pytorch versions does kymatio support?"
