This repo includes the scripts used in the book Dynamics of Flexible Aircraft by Palacios and Cesnik. Each folder correspond to a chapter in the book. The name of the script to launch the simulation can be found in the book under the relevant figures. We welcome contributions amd feedback. If you can think of an improvement to the scripts, feel free to start a pull request.

The *.m scripts should run on any recent version of matlab. They have been last checked in Matlab R2022b. You can also run them in Matlab online at:

Changes from March 2025:

1. A list of known errata in the first edition of the book.
2. The scripts for the SHARPy simulations are now in the sharpy_cases repository. They need you to install the latest version of SHARPy first.
