The conformance tool should test if servers are issuing redirect loops. For example, when a server for a gTLD is given a query for “test.example” it should either answer with a 404 or answer with a redirect to an appropriate server. Many servers answer with a location to their own server with that same RDAP URL resulting in a referral loop.
