Strange things are happening when using filters and workspaces

1. export filtered graph to a new workspace doesn't do anything
   

2. manually selecting (rectangle select) the filtered graph
   

-> right click -> copy to -> new workspace,
doesn't copy the whole selection

Both 0.9.2 nightly and 0.9.1 stable on os x 10.11.3, java 1.8.0_74
