Hi Changaco. I reviewed https://gato-lang.dev and I really like the idea. If you decide to work on any PoC compiler, I'd be very interested in reviewing the code and seeing how I can contribute.

Looking forward to seeing more updates when they become available.

Feel free to close this issue whenever you'd like, I just wanted to give you some feedback in public interest.

Thanks @naltun. Your message is very much appreciated. 🙂

I've only done a small amount of work on the compiler so far, for lack of available time. I can push what I have if you want, but it's still just a bunch of incomplete class definitions.

I'm interested in reviewing any code that you have. If you're not ready to open source the code, you can send it to me privately.

I'm always ready to open source, I just don't usually publish code when I'm still in the middle of writing it. I would have waited at least until the parser actually works before pushing, but since you want to see whatever I have, I'll just clean that up a bit, pick a license, and off it goes.

The code I've written so far is now in the gato.py repository.

Excellent. I'll be able to review this in a few days. Looking forward to it.

There really isn't much to review, though I'm interested in what you think of the parser design I'm experimenting with.
