First of all thank you for maintaining distribution ! 🙏

We're in the progress of upgrading our registry instances to the 3.0 release and with stumbled on breaking change that could be a bit more visible IMO.

The default value of forcepathstyle changed from true to false and while this is discussed in the PR, it could be made mode clear in the changelog of the associated Release.

I'm creating this discussion so that others, using "S3 compatible" products such as minio can find it more easily.
