Having browsed around this repo a bit, I still have no idea what the motives are for drafting a new license. What problems is it trying to solve? What outcomes is is trying to bring about/ avoid?

A couple of suggestions:

• the folks who initiated this drafting process could write up something to explain their motives, and add it to the ReadMe for the repo, so its easily accessible to the casual visitor.
• an FAQ file in the repo could be useful too
