There is no naming convention of scope selectors #8430

Description

I assume Atom follows TextMate naming conventions, but there is no mention about it. It causes misunderstandings(1, 2, 3 etc.) Also many language packages don't follow it. Syntax theme looks awful for these languages. Syntax-theme developers must create a syntax rule for each language. It's a real headache.

I suggest:

Mention in files might be something like this:

// See list of scopes in "Naming Conventions" section of the
// TextMate Language Grammar Guide:
// http://manual.macromates.com/en/language_grammars#naming_conventions
