MQTT in the Enterprise - How we successfully run an MQTT Messaging Broker

MQTT in the Enterprise - How we successfully run an MQTT Messaging Broker
v1:
From zero to Kubernetes: Which challenges do I face while migrating a cloud-unready Java application such as HiveMQ (MQTT Message Broker) from a classical Linux IT- environment to Docker-Orchestrator Kubernetes? We (inovex) took the challenge, and with an intensive cooperation with dc-square (the developer of HiveMQ) we tested a dynamic scalable Message Broker for a customer for operation in a big cloud. Then we integrated it in Prometheus with the help of automatic Kubernetes service discovery. In this talk we want to show you the technical problems we had to solve and what the final result looks like for the admins and clients.
