Dear Stirling-PDF Team,

Firstly, I'd like to extend my heartfelt appreciation for the development of Stirling-PDF. This tool has significantly streamlined my workflow with its comprehensive suite of PDF manipulation features. As I've integrated Stirling-PDF more deeply into my daily tasks, I've identified an opportunity to further enhance the tool's usability and user experience through advanced customisation options.

Proposed Feature:
I propose the introduction of a feature that allows users to create and save custom workflows or presets within the Stirling-PDF interface. This feature would enable users to save specific combinations of PDF manipulations that they use frequently, thereby significantly reducing the time and effort required for repetitive tasks.

Use Case Scenario:
For instance, if a user regularly combines the actions of merging PDFs, adding watermarks, and then compressing the file, this sequence could be saved as a custom workflow. The next time the user needs to perform this sequence of actions, they could simply select their saved preset, rather than manually applying each step.

Benefits:

  • Efficiency: This feature would streamline workflows for users who regularly perform complex sequences of PDF manipulations, saving time and effort.
  • Customisation: It would add an extra layer of personalisation to the tool, allowing users to tailor it to their specific needs.
  • User Experience: By reducing the number of repetitive tasks, the overall user experience would be enhanced, making Stirling-PDF an even more indispensable tool in PDF management.

I believe this feature would be a substantial addition to Stirling-PDF and would be greatly appreciated by the community. I look forward to your thoughts on this suggestion and am excited about the potential of further enhancing this already fantastic tool.

Best regards,
yihong1120
