Issue description

When attempting to change the colours of the themes in the Text Editor, the colours don't always change. Sometimes after a restart of Redot, sometimes the colours don't change at all. There is also a realy long delay when colours are selected and the colour selector is closed by selecting the window behind. It feels very buggy.

This has been an issue for a while now, older versions of Godot etc.

Steps to reproduce

Select: Editor>Editor Settings>Text Editor>Theme
Attempt to change the colours of the theme :)
