On the user guide page, there's nothing to really draw a users attention over to the dev status page or the hardware mods under the m17 page. As a result, users are left to discover on their own these details. I think a few statements on the user guide page could help ease this.

Also, the hardware mods pages don't mention that much about the condition that it leaves the device in. The motivation to bring M17 support with the change is clear. But the fact that hardware mods are transparent to stock firmware and dmr warrants mentioning.
