A volte il log in /var/log/syslog non è leggibile perchè ci sono dei caratteri non ascii ,che manda arduino sulla seriale.

logprint(buf)

modificate linee:

        else: #cmd not found
          tmp_buf=buf.decode("utf8","replace")
          tmp_buf.encode("ascii","replace")

Da arduinoserial.py
Da verificare se il problema è risolto
