Can't seem to get it to work #567

I am getting this error when running hoverswarm.launch

[ERROR] [launch]: Caught exception in launch (see debug for traceback): Caught multiple exceptions when trying to load file of format [launch]:

RuntimeError: Unrecognized entity of the type: rosparam

SyntaxError: invalid syntax (test.launch, line 1)

System info:
PC1: Windows Vicon tracker
PC2: Ubuntu 22.04.5 LTS
ROS2 humble

I was able to run this code below and perform takeoff/land on the crazyflie. I was also able to get the pose of the vicon markers using this (https://github.com/OPT4SMART/ros2-vicon-receiver) package. So, both vicon and crazyflie are not the problem.

Please help me solve this. Thanks in advance.

Your example script does not use Crazyswarm, but cflib. Please refer to our examples in crazyflie_examples for the API
The error message you posted is regarding some launch file (test.launch), which is not part of our repository. You would need to post the launch file and all steps that are needed to reproduce the issue.

I am getting this error when running crazyflie_examples hello_world

My apologies. Here is test.launch. I took hover_swarm, commented out the joystick input nodes and set the motion capture host name to the ip address.

This seems to be a launch file from Crazyswarm1, which is based on ROS 1. ROSparam doesn't exist there
