Do you have an activity log of such encode (DTS-HD 7.1 to FLAC or Vorbis 7.1)? |

I can't reproduce the issue with the free dts-hd samples I found on the web. |

Well, my Sonos system is the only thing in the house that supports 7.1, so I can't really test it elsewhere. I can say that if I force my streaming tool (Kodi allows this) to use onle 5.1 channels then it plays back normally, and I do have a few videos that are encoded with TrueHD 7.1 that play normally (and report in the Sonos app as such). Plex doesn't have the 5.1 setting option though, and it is also playing back the Handbrake Flac/Vorbis 7.1 center channel audio out the left rear speaker.
Is there a command line setting I might try using to force that audio channel to map to the center channel?

Does it play properly on something that is not your Sonos system?

Flac/Vorbis uses a different channels order than DTS for 7.1. So something along the line is probably ignoring the channels layout. I am fairly sure HandBrake is doing the right thing because the DTS-HD 7.1 sample I have converts correctly to FLAC. Maybe try asking Kodi or Plex devs? |

Any chance you have a sample file converted from DTS 7.1 to Flac 7.1 I can try? Are there any special instructions I need to set somewhere to ensure the channel mapping is done correctly? I did confirm that playing the content from other available applications on my Shield TV (Plex, VLC, default player) and not just Kodi, the issue persists. |

Update: Sonos is telling me they don't support FLAC 7.1, only LPCM 7.1, so that might be where it ends. Any chance of converting DTS-HD/MA 7.1 to LPCM 7.1 with HB? I don't recall seeing that option in the gui... |

Problem Description
When playing back transcoded videos from DTS-HD 7.1 to FLAC or Vorbis 7.1, the center/dialog audio is playing through the left rear speaker (on my Sonos system) instead of the center channel speaker.
