This could be broken out into multiple features:

  • Symbol.dispose
  • Symbol.asyncDispose
  • using syntax
  • await using syntax
  • DisposableStack
  • AsyncDisposableStack

Spec: https://github.com/tc39/proposal-explicit-resource-management

Looks like Chrome is shipping Symbol.dispose, but no one is shipping anything else.

At least related to #6830, if not duplicate, but that one could be argued as a subset of this one.
