Feature description

When a message is not sent, an error message is shown underneath the text bubble. However, if the user moves out of the discussion to the main activity or switches to another app before the failure occurs, then the error can go unnoticed.

If a notification were generated, it would be immediately noticeable when the user next uses the phone. This could be put into a separate notification "channel" so the user could disable them if they are a distraction, although failures should be rare events so should not be any more annoying than the failure itself.

Why do you want this feature?

The situation above happened to me last week. I sent a message to someone but there was a failure. I didn't notice until 5 days later when I went to send the same person another message.
