Error: Module not found: Error: Can't resolve 'path'
Directory: ./trivia-game-react
Commands run: yarn setup && yarn start
Node version tested: 16.14.0
Yarn version: 1.22.18

Full error message:

ERROR in ./node_modules/postcss-js/node_modules/postcss/lib/input.js 6:35-50

Module not found: Error: Can't resolve 'path' in '/xstate-examples/trivia-game-react/node_modules/postcss-js/node_modules/postcss/lib'

BREAKING CHANGE: webpack < 5 used to include polyfills for node.js core modules by default.
This is no longer the case. Verify if you need this module and configure a polyfill for it.

If you want to include a polyfill, you need to:
	- add a fallback 'resolve.fallback: { "path": require.resolve("path-browserify") }'
	- install 'path-browserify'
If you don't want to include a polyfill, you can use an empty module like this:
	resolve.fallback: { "path": false }

Notes:

  • I tried adding path: false and "path": require.resolve("path-browserify") to the webpack resolve but neither addressed the issue.
