I am trying to change my City Folk character's gender from Male to Female. I am able to change and save the character's name, hair and face without issue. However, when I change the gender dropdown from Male to Female and save the file, it reverts to Male when I reopen the file, and subsequently in the game I can see that my character is still male (i.e. wearing shorts).

Is there any way to fully change my character's gender to Female without restarting my save?
