Feedback provided by @tadam:
"I'm able to add a dictionary via web-interface and give it a name that contains a dot. But then I cannot add this dictionary to a service. It's listed among available dictionaries when I edit service, but "+" button doesn't work. It works fine if the name doesn't contain dots."
