Potential content addition suggested by Rebecca Refoy in #18F Slack channel, May 17, 2024:

"in this round of derisking guide edits, are we expecting a section on how to transitioning away from one vendor to another?

I've had a partner reach out with a question on this, they found this page and wanted access to the transition planning link. That link is a handful of transition plans of 18F preparing partner agencies to transition away from 18F, not a vendor."

Context: When the FFS Team revised the De-risking Guide, it kept a list of backlog items for possibly addressing in future iterations. As the project lead during close-out, I transferred that list to the Guides repo.

• assessing the utility of the requested content by having conversations with relevant 18F staff (starting with Rebecca) to decide if content on vendor transition should be developed
• if no, you're done.
• if yes, figuring out what should be said with relevant 18F staff input
• writing/editing content
• notifying TTS Outreach of changes to see if new content requires going through GSA concurrence
• going through GSA concurrence, if needed
• publishing
