Thank you for being a Google Fiber Webpass customer. GFiber, Google Fiber Webpass and Webpass are the brands through which we bring you products and services, including the Webpass website (“Services”). Webpass Inc. (and/or any one of its affiliates, collectively “Webpass”) is the entity that brings you those Services. Webpass Inc. is located at 267 8th Street, San Francisco, CA 94103, United States.When you use the Services, you trust us with your information. This Webpass Privacy Policy (this “Privacy Policy”) is meant to help you understand what data we collect when you sign up for or use the Services, why we collect it, and what we do with it. This is important; we hope you will take time to read it carefully. We’ve tried to keep it as simple as possible, but if you’re not familiar with terms like cookies, IP addresses, pixel tags and browsers, then read about these key terms first. This Privacy Policy applies to all Services. This Privacy Policy does not apply to the collection and use of information by services offered by Google (such as Gmail or Google Search) or to the Google Fiber service – such information will be treated in accordance with the applicable Google or Google Fiber policies and terms of service. This Privacy Policy also does not cover the information practices of other companies and organizations who advertise or use our Services, and who may use cookies, pixel tags and other technologies to serve and offer relevant ads. The Webpass website may contain links to websites owned by other companies. Because Webpass has no control over the privacy practices or content of these linked sites, we recommend that you carefully review the privacy statement of each website you visit. Webpass is not responsible for the content or privacy practices of websites owned by other companies. In addition, this Privacy Policy applies only to information provided by or collected from customers and users in the United States and is not intended to describe data handling procedures for information collected by other linked websites or business partners. This Privacy Policy addresses our procedures for handling the personal information of customers in the United States who are at least 13 years old. We do not seek to collect, nor do we knowingly collect information from children. If a child has provided us with personal information, a parent or guardian of that child may contact us to request deletion of this information from our records. When you sign up for or purchase a service from Webpass, you may provide us with certain personal information, including identifiers and commercial information such as your name, email address, home or service address, telephone number, bank account information, or credit or debit card information. We collect certain information when we install, configure, troubleshoot, or update your services and when you otherwise use our services and website. This information may include the following- Device Information: We may collect device-specific information such as your hardware model, operating system version and unique device identifiers for your devices (e.g., your computer, network hardware, etc.). Webpass may associate your device information with your account.
- Log Information: When you use our services or view content provided by us, we may collect and store certain information in server logs. This includes Internet or other electronic network activity information (such as details of how you used our service), and identifiers such as your IP address, and cookies that may uniquely identify your browser.
- Location Information: When you use the Services, we may collect and process precise and approximate geolocation information. We use various technologies to determine location, including identifiers such as IP address, GPS, and other sensors that may, for example, provide Webpass with information on nearby devices, Wi-Fi access points and cell towers.
- Unique Application Numbers: Certain services include identifiers such as a unique application number. This number and information about your installation (for example, the operating system type and application version number) may be sent to Webpass when you install or uninstall that service or when that service periodically contacts our servers, such as for automatic updates.
- Local Storage: We may collect and store Internet or other electronic network activity information) locally on your device using mechanisms such as browser web storage (including HTML 5) and application data caches.
- Cookies and Similar Technologies: We and our affiliates and service providers use various technologies to collect and store information when you visit the Google Fiber Webpass website, and this may include using identifiers such as cookies or similar technologies to identify your browser or device. We also use these technologies to collect and store Internet or other electronic network activity information when you interact with services we offer to our business partners. As a Google-branded affiliate, we use Google Analytics, which helps businesses and site owners analyze the traffic to their websites and apps, and Google ads products and services to help market our services. Google Analytics information is linked, by the Google Analytics customer or by Google, using Google technology, with information about visits to multiple sites.
Information we get from outside sources
We may also obtain identifiers, inferences, demographic and other information about our current or prospective Google Fiber Webpass users from outside sources for marketing purposes (such as publicly or commercially available demographic, geographic, address or interest information).How we use information we collect
We use the information we collect from all of our services for the following business and commercial purposes: to provide, maintain, protect, troubleshoot, and improve the services; to develop new ones; to protect our network and our users; to enforce our rights if we determine a violation of this Privacy Policy, our Terms of Service, or other Webpass policy has occurred; to comply with laws; and to assist us in fraud prevention or investigation. For example, we use information collected from monitoring network traffic and usage to monitor the overall quality and security of our services and analyze the information to improve our services, and we use information collected from cookies and other technologies, like pixel tags, to improve your user experience and the overall quality of our services.We may also use your contact information, including your email and home address, to contact you for other business and commercial purposes, including to respond to your inquiries, to provide you with troubleshooting and maintenance services, and to inform you about services and products, such as letting you know about upcoming changes, programs, and improvements.We will ask for your consent before using information for a purpose other than those that are set out in this Privacy Policy.Transparency and choice

Data Retention
We store personal information for as long as necessary to carry out the purposes for which we originally collected it and for other business purposes explained in this Privacy Notice. Retention periods vary by data type, for example:- We keep data required to provide our Services until it is no longer needed to provide our Services, such as customer account information like your name, contact information, and plan information.
- Your settings may be stored locally on Google Fiber-owned equipment. Equipment is reflashed upon return, which results in deletion of your settings.
- We retain some data for longer periods of time when necessary for legitimate business or legal purposes, such as security, fraud and abuse prevention, tax, or financial record-keeping.
