I put this book down twice. I can't pinpoint the problem. I think I just didn't like the storyline. But I knew I needed to finish what I started. It got a little better but I wasn't crew out it. Also, when it got moving there were places that needed filled in.

I will read the next book by this author and hope for the best. I really like her writing style and hops this was just a fluke.

Diesel was a prospect ordered to kill Karma, a rival MC's princess. I felt like I was dropped into the story and was supposed to know who all the MC's brothers were and where their clubhouse was located. All the conflict was resolved easily and without a bunch of drama.

This is part of a MC series that contains characters that embody stereotypical actions and characteristics of the genre and New York gangsters as well as “insta love”.

This has the potential for a great series but I don’t think it worked all that well in a novella format, so that is why I gave it 3 stars. Just not enough details to make the story, characters, universe, etc. come to life. Unfortunately that made it read more like an excuse to cuss and mate (you know what I mean, even though I can’t list it out here … ).

I have not yet read all the books in this series. But by far the best and my most favourite is Diesel. I just love the two characters alone and together they are explosive.
It is only short so worth a read you will want to read the rest. Second fav. is Harley.
